Universities & Intellectuals
Universities & Intellectuals is an internationally peer-reviewed journal with a focus on intellectuals, leadership, and universities in times of major epistemological and social transformations. The journal invites essays that offer a critical perspective on the roles of academia in transforming their societies to achieve greater resilience and creativity in confronting challenges. Priority is given to philosophical, conceptual, and analytical investigations.
We review and publish original papers that do not exceed 3,000 words and comply with APA Referencing Style standards.

This journal was established in 2021 at HKU’s Comparative Education Research Centre following the support of UGC/RGC GRF grant 17665816 (Principal Investigator: Prof Anatoly Oleksiyenko). The journal has been recently relocated to the EdUHK’s Centre for Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies.

Academic Praxis

Academic Praxis is an internationally peer-reviewed journal aiming to advance reflexive scholarship on teaching, learning and management at colleges and universities. Academic Praxis invites submissions from scholars and practitioners of higher education and encourages cross-cultural conversations on practices, methods, challenges, and opportunities in academic development and innovation.
Academic Praxis admits papers which follow the APA referencing style format and are in the volume of 3,000-5,000 words.

The journal was founded by Prof Anatoly Oleksiyenko in 2021 at HKU’s Comparative Education Research Centre and relocated to CHELPS in 2024.
