  • Are bibliometrics corrupting academic life?

  • Should academics compete or collaborate?

  • Should everyone have the right to a higher education?

What is the format?

Usually two or three speakers will offer different perspectives on one key question for 5-10 minutes each after which attendees will be invited to contribute and join in the discussion.

When is it held?

It is held once a month on the EdUHK Tai Po campus between 1pm-2pm.

National Security Education in Hong Kong's University in the 'new era'

Abstract

This seminar will present findings from a project focusing on National Security Education within universities in Hong Kong, which was funded by the HKSAR Government under the Public Policy Research Funding Scheme.  The primary objective of this research was to gain insights into university students' experiences with NSE and explore how student feedback can inform the development of future educational programmes.
