A free, open event focused on discussing key questions about higher education and its relationship with society.
What kind of questions will be discussed?
- Is higher education fair? 
- Who should pay for higher education? 
- Is higher education a business? 
- Has the expansion of university education reduced inequality? 
- Are bibliometrics corrupting academic life? 
- Should academics compete or collaborate? 
- Should everyone have the right to a higher education? 
What is the format?
Usually two or three speakers will offer different perspectives on one key question for 5-10 minutes each after which attendees will be invited to contribute and join in the discussion.
When is it held?
It is held once a month on the EdUHK Tai Po campus between 1pm-2pm.
