What Do We Mean by Doing Research
This series (hybrid) creates a space to explore the meaning and methods of research, and to consider how it connects with practice. Open to colleagues and friends across career stages, disciplines, and countries, it seeks to bridge the gap between research and practice through dialogue that is both intellectually stimulating and practically meaningful. The 6th seminar of this series will feature discussants who will lead conversations on the following questions:
How does time - project timelines, contracts, career precarity - shape research opportunities?
What opportunities are only visible in hindsight, and what does that tell us about how research unfolds?
